Volunteer or Intern with Xaveri SA

Volunteers are the heart of Xaveri SA. All of Xaveri SA ’s projects are supported by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers―helping transform our vision for the refugee community in South Africa into a reality. We are always interested in hearing from professionals who want to contribute their skills and time to Xaveri South Africa. In the past, we have worked with social workers, research professionals, writers, photographers, graphic designers and people with fundraising and marketing experience. We can also help university students receive academic credit for time spent interning.

We welcome interns and volunteers who are able to commit to a minimum of 10-week in our office and are preferred to be focused on capacity building for current employees.

Xaveri SA accepts skilled volunteers directly, with no fees. All living costs (accommodation, food, transport, and visas) are the responsibility of the volunteer, but we provide advice and a friendly and welcoming workplace!
